Our name is more than just letters - it reflects our identity! It remains our secret for the time being whether the He in HeBoSint® reflects the hexagonal crystal structure or the company name Henze, but fortunately for us, both fit perfectly.
The brand name HeBoSint® is also a combination of the material name boron nitride and the term sintered materials and stands for hot-pressed boron nitride sintered materials.
What product lines are there in this product family?
Due to the wide range of properties that sintered boron nitride has depending on its composition, our product family is divided into three exclusive product lines: the Pure Line, the Classic Line and the Strong Line. One of these lines is selected according to the specific requirements and areas of application. Decisive criteria here include the mechanical load, required temperature resistance, chemical resistance and electrical properties, to name only a few.
HeBoSint® PURE LINE
HeBoSint® PURE LINE materials have a particularly high degree of purity and a boron nitride content of more than 98.5 %. The specific material properties of boron nitride, such as high temperature resistance, good thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, excellent thermal shock resistance and very good lubricating properties, are extremely well developed. The HeBoSint® PURE LINE can be used under inert gas at temperatures of over 2000 °C. A property that makes it the first choice for plasma systems and high-temperature furnace construction, for example.
HeBoSint® CLASSIC LINE
The HeBoSint® CLASSIC LINE is a convincing combination of good mechanical and thermal properties with high cost-effectiveness. This versatility predestines the CLASSIC LINE for various applications. The product portfolio includes high-quality casting nozzles for the metal industry, soldering underlays, welding nozzles and insulation frames for PVD coating systems. The good release properties, high thermal shock resistance and very good electrical insulating effect ensure reliability in the production process and guarantee a long service life for the components.
HeBoSint® STRONG LINE
The HeBoSint® STRONG LINE product line stands for boron nitride composite materials with outstanding mechanical properties, very high gas tightness and high wear resistance. The addition of zirconium oxide or aluminium nitride increases the mechanical strength. The boron nitride content of the STRONG LINE ensures the boron nitride-specific properties such as electrical insulation and very good release properties. A product line with a strong character for system components that are exposed to high mechanical loads in the application, such as cover strips in PVD systems and components for the steel industry.
