The HeBoLub® product family is primarily known for process reliability, performance, and cost-effectiveness—no matter what your application may be! The boron nitride-oil dispersion consists of a mineral base oil and fine, hexagonal boron nitride particles. Even small amounts of HeBoLub® improve the lubricating properties of the oils and reduce wear. HeBoLub® is used, for example, in heavy-duty transmissions, engines, and in the metalworking industry.
HeBoLub® proves its positive features especially in demanding thresholds, with extreme temperatures, high friction loads and relatively low friction speeds, . Among other things, HeBoLub® forms a separating protective layer, prevents wear and tear, and ensures a significantly longer service life of plants and machines. Besides, by reducing the friction coefficient, the friction resistance can be significantly reduced, and an extreme rise in temperature can be prevented. HeBoLub® also has a stabilising effect on the coefficient of friction throughout the entire friction process. This means that extremes are smoothed and a constant lubricating effect minimises wear. What is more, HeBoLub®-containing oils increase the load-bearing capacity.
Equally, HeBoLub® scores with improved heat dissipation, high thermal conductivity and temperature resistance. The product family is particularly suitable for oxygen applications up to 900 °C and remains stable under inert gas / vacuum up to 2,000 °C.

HeBoLub® O10 combines ultra-fine hexagonal boron nitride particles with a mineral base oil to form a unique lubricant additive. This boron nitride-oil dispersion simultaneously reduces friction and wear on components, thereby enhancing the smooth running and service life of engines, gearboxes and machinery.
HeBoLub® O10 also has a positive impact on cost-effectiveness. The lubricant additive smooths the surfaces of the friction parts, thereby reducing the systems’ fuel and energy consumption. HeBoLub® O10 is based on a 10 per cent boron nitride content.
Typical areas of application

- For chain drives, conveyors
- In the field of metalworking: forming, punching, grinding, drawing, and much more.
However, HeBoLub® O10 is not suitable for automatic gearboxes and wet clutches.

What exactly is HeBoLub®?
HeBoLub® is an innovative and high-performance lubricant additive for engines, transmissions, and equipment. It consists of fine boron nitride particles dispersed in oil at a high concentration. When used as an additive in conventional lubricants, it demonstrably minimizes friction and wear.
What are the specific benefits of HeBoLub® for machines and engines?
HeBoLub® significantly reduces fuel and energy consumption by reducing friction. It also extends the life cycle of products and engines thanks to the excellent wear protection of the surfaces.
