Always one step ahead!
Staying at the forefront with forward-thinking ideas, new technologies, and state-of-the-art equipment—this aptly describes the motivation of company founder Peter Henze. He launched his own business in 1993, marking the birth of what is now Henze Boron Nitride Products AG! Since then, the company has been dedicated to developing customized product solutions made from hexagonal boron nitride. And with great success! What began in the Henze family home 30 years ago is now an internationally active company.
For more than 10 years, Peter Henze’s sons, Christoph and Matthias Henze, have been running the family business as the second generation of owners. With a production area of approximately 3,500 square meters, Henze BNP covers the entire range of boron nitride products—from powder to finished sintered components.

Peter Henze founded the company in Kempten in 1993.

The Boron Nitride Specialist
As a boron nitride specialist, Henze BNP enjoys a high level of trust among its customers. This is due, among other things, to its consistently high quality standards, reliable delivery times, many years of experience, and comprehensive expertise in boron nitride. Henze BNP responds quickly and flexibly to new market challenges and has consistently achieved steady growth.
Precision ceramic components made of sintered boron nitride, as well as high-performance suspensions, sprays, and lubricant additives, are used, for example, in high-temperature furnace construction, in PVD and plasma systems, in aluminum extrusion, and in metal casting. The various powder grades offer additional benefits as filler additives in release agents and lubricants or provide increased thermal conductivity in plastics.
Living Sustainability
At Henze BNP, sustainable and environmentally conscious practices are values firmly embedded in the company’s mission statement. The company has long been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN ISO 14001 (environmental management) and attaches great importance to the efficient use of resources, the sustainability of its products, and the careful use of raw materials and energy. The company meets its electricity requirements through its in-house photovoltaic system and sources the remainder from 100% renewable generation. In addition, Henze BNP has developed an innovative energy recovery concept for its own hot press, which allows existing energy to be put to good use.
Henze BNP is firmly committed to its responsibility towards the environment, society and the economy. Since 2021, the company has been a member of the Economy for the Common Good, thereby adopting an innovative approach that does not measure success solely on the basis of economic indicators. Henze BNP regards corporate responsibility as a holistic concept that encompasses environmental protection and social cohesion.
For the company, economic, environmental and social objectives are inextricably linked.

Nuclear Energy
We do not supply companies whose primary business is the extraction of uranium or the production of nuclear energy.
Arms and Weapons
We do not supply companies that manufacture or trade in military equipment, weapons, or intermediate products and services intended exclusively for the defense industry.
